The Case Studies
CROSSEU embarks on a multifaceted journey, grounded in eight meticulously curated case studies linked to event-based storylines (STLs). These case studies span a wide spectrum of climate and socio-economic contexts within the EU, dissecting key categories of climate hazards such as storms, heatwaves, droughts, and snow.
The project aims to dissect the impact of extreme events and unravel the indirect climate change impacts reverberating across Europe. Through these endeavors, CROSSEU aims to pave the way for a more resilient, informed, and proactive response to the challenges posed by climate change across European regions.
