Sister projects
A “sister project” refers to a related initiative funded under the same EU funding programme. In our case, it falls under Climate sciences and responses (HORIZON-CL5-2022-D1-01 – two-stage). CROSSEU sister projects, ACCREU, and SPARCCLE share common objectives and target similar audiences within the same thematic focus. They are designed to complement one another by exchanging insights, methodologies, and results. Through collaboration, sister projects explore synergies, complement each other's efforts and activities, optimise resources, and ultimately work together to maximise impact and achieve shared goals.
ACCREU
(Assessing Climate Change Risk in EUrope - G.A. 101081358) is an innovative research project
that gathers leading experts on climate change sciences from 15 European research
institutions.
ACCREU aims to advance knowledge regarding climate change risk and adaptation that can be
used
directly by stakeholder communities.
SPARCCLE is a Horizon Europe project that is co-developing modelling tools with policymakers, scientists and civil society to support us all in making better decisions to reduce the risks and build resilience within the society and economy of Europe in the face of climate change.
